    Better then expected really meaty and when heated was really juicy in side. Un like most things you get where the picture looks better it’s the other way round it’s so filled with just enough jelly to melt when you heat it.

    Lovely meaty and moist texture. Not over-seasoned like some pies I’ve bought elsewhere but with a good amount of jelly, so the natural flavours come through well.

    Very often I am disapointed at the contents of such pies, lack of meat, lack of taste, too much gravy. This one, however, was full of big chunks of tasty meat, had the right amount of tasty gravy and was topped with a lovely pastry. We will be buying this again.

    I was a bit disappointed with this, the Grouse pate was nice but i felt it didn’t really belong in a pie, would have liked more actual meat.

    Lockdown has meant we’ve been unable to eat out like we normally would so we’ve been trying new foods. This was an amazing pie. No restaurant could come close !
