Why Our Meats

We’ve complemented our selection of game meat with a range of heritage breed meats selected for flavour and responsible farming practices. Our range includes interesting cuts of meat that have become difficult to find on supermarket shelves, bringing a spirit of interest and adventure to your mealtimes. Our pork is outdoor reared on a Suffolk 
farm with a strong focus on sustainability, animal welfare and the protection of the surrounding countryside and native wildlife. Our grass-fed beef comes from a fifth- generation East Anglian family farm that favours traditional, sustainable farming practices. Its Lincoln Red cattle are free to roam luscious, grassy marshlands from Spring to autumn before moving to upland fields for the winter. The Lincoln Red is one of the UK’s oldest native breeds and produces richly marbled, succulent beef. Our lamb is sourced from British farms that demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability and flavour and have the highest levels of animal welfare.
